Getting Started

Interested in adding your business to BuyLocalMN? Doing so is as easy as:

  • Sign up: Use the sign up page to create an account
  • Confirm: Look for the confirmation e-mail in the mailbox of the e-mail address you entered. Click on the confirmation link to go back to the site.
  • Log in: After clicking the confirmation link, you'll be logged in. This is a good chance to change your password to something you're comfortable with.
  • Create your listing: Go to your owner dashboard and click the create new business listing link.

Is your business already listed? It should show up on your owner dashboard. If not, please contact us with your username and business name. We'll get things straightened out.

Once your listing is added, you can:

  • Edit its information fields: Just click the edit link next to the listing in the dashboard, or click the Edit tab when viewing the listing.
  • Add images: Click the images link next to the listing in the dashboard, or click the Images tab when viewing the listing. Please upload web-sized photos, rather than photos straight from your digital camera. That means photos that are approximately 800x600 pixels, and typically less than 200 KB in file size.
