The St. Paul Saints have provided outdoor family entertainment to St. Paul, Minnesota since 1993. One of the most famous franchises in minor league baseball, the independent Saints play 96 games per season as members of the American Association. The Saints have drawn nearly 300,000 fans per season to 6,069-seat Midway Stadium, including averaging 103% capacity in 2008. With an eclectic ownership group including Marv Goldklang, baseball and marketing maverick Mike Veeck and actor/comedian Bill Murray, the Saints have adopted a “Fun is Good” attitude that keeps fans smiling, laughing and cheering each and every game night. Known for their outlandish promotions, the Saints are the only team in baseball with a live pig as its mascot (in 2008 the pig was named Boarack Ohama – past swines have included Hammy Davis, Jr., Notorious P.I.G.
